About Privy

The fine print should not require a law degree to understand.

Privy exists because important consumer decisions are often buried inside documents designed for completeness, not clarity.

Privy AI is operated by Greenhouse Ventures, LLC under the Greenhouse Labs brand.

The consumer problem

Clicking Accept can change more than people realize

Subscription rules, data sharing, arbitration, liability limits, account termination, and content licenses can materially affect a person long after signup.

Reading every legal document line by line is unrealistic. Ignoring it entirely leaves people exposed to terms they never meaningfully understood. Privy narrows that gap by highlighting consequential language, explaining its practical effect, and keeping the source evidence beside the explanation.

It is a decision-support tool, not a substitute for the original document or professional legal advice.

Product principles

Built for trust, not spectacle

The product is designed around a few durable rules.

Evidence before confidence

Important findings should point to an exact source quote, not ask users to trust a mysterious score.

Consequences before jargon

Explain what a clause can mean for a person's money, data, rights, account, or ability to cancel.

Action before automation

Local detection can help quietly. Sending document text for analysis requires the user's explicit choice.

Limits stated plainly

AI can miss context or get things wrong. The website and product should say so without burying the caveat.

Useful history, under control

Reports can be searched, filtered, revisited, exported, and removed from active account history.

Claims that match the product

No fabricated statistics, unsupported certifications, or features advertised before they work.
